He answered all types of letters, from the Big bad wolf, the Wolf of London, Bad Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood. None of those letters were what the agency was looking for until Manny finally re-read the add in which was sent out to the Wolves that were applying. Manny rewrote the ad, properly, and received better results. Moral of story/lesson/theme: Helps to produce letters and advertisements with proper format. Ties in other folk tales. Is it a good read aloud book? Yes

His friend the yellow bird helps him discover details by going on an adventure by looking closely at the world around him. Rocket discovers a scared baby owl along his travels which begins to develop his story line. The scared owl grows closer and closer to Rocket and together they finish the story together. Moral of story/lesson/theme: Helps to inspire new readers to write and develop small details while Writing.. Is it a good read aloud book? Her classmates call her dumb and laugh at her while she struggles to read. She gets lucky to have a teacher who recognizes her struggles and understands her problems. He takes time to provide intervention which eventually makes her love reading. Moral of story/lesson/theme: Helps to provide reassurance to children who struggle to overcome learning disabilities, like Patricia. Is it a good read aloud book? Yes |
